Mission: Our mission is to provide a neutral, child friendly organization that facilitates a multidisciplinary approach to the investigation, prosecution, intervention and treatment of child abuse.
Vision: Our vision is to facilitate the collaboration with agency professionals from Law Enforcement, Child Protection, Prosecution and Medical to assess and support abused children and their non-offending family members.

When abused children enter the Children's Advocacy Center, they enter a safe and child-friendly environment.
"Woodstock", the Center's Therapy Dog, greets them at the front door and escorts them to the waiting room. There the children can watch videos, play games and puzzles, create masterpieces on the giant chalkboard, watch the fish swim around the fish tank, and create Lego works of art.
Each child receives a healthy snack, a homemade blanket and a stuffed animal before leaving the Advocacy Center.
The Children's Advocacy Center provides the first step in the children's' and families' healing process, offering them both hope and a brighter future.

Community Avengers!
With all the hype about the new movie "Avengers" I thought we would recognize some community avengers located here in Bastrop and surrounding counties. Bluebonnet Electric Coop. employees and family met up Saturday May 19, 2012 at the Children's Advocacy Center right here in Bastrop to lend a helping hand. Employees and their families from Bluebonnet performed various maintenance projects on the house that the Children's Advocacy Center calls home. The jobs performed varied from re-building the front porch to gardening and yard work. The Children's Advocacy Center wanted to offer the Employees and their families from Bluebonnet Electric Coop. a huge thank you. We appreciate your continued support. The Bastrop and surrounding communities are lucky to have such devoted and charismatic support in our community. Thank you!
